Tech news and CES
As the new year begins so does the CES show and we are starting out with some interesting tech news. First, we want to thank our friends at IHU Solutions for helping us sort out the details.
It was announced this morning that Hulu will be merging their live tv service with Fubo TV. Next Dell announced a revamp of their computer names, creating three new tiers simply known as Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max, taking an obvious cue from Apple. John Deere has expanded their autonomous machines to include orchards, quarries and grassy lawns due the ever-expanding labor shortage.
And in other farm news, non-tech related, a major supplier of oranges in Florida is closing their citrus operations. Guess those OJ prices won't be coming down anytime soon.
Meanwhile, in a crazy move META announced the addition of UFC's Dana White to its board. No doubt to please one man in particular. While the WWE announced for the first time that the Royal Rumble in 2026 will be held out of the United States. The 39th Royal Rumble will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in January 2026. Both the UFC and WWE are part of TKO Group Holdings with stock listed on the NYSE symbol TKO.
New Year, new stories and archives
The new year will bring longer stories and an archive of what we have published. In the past we have deleted stories as they became outdated, but we realize it's important to hold on to them for a look back.
One Look Back
We wanted to look back at one story from 2024 which was the announcement back is September from Costco that they are adding apartments in addition to a new store they are building in Los Angeles. It will contain 800 units. As one person said, I can go downstairs and get a $1.50 hot dog anytime!

The King of Kentucky Bourbon
King of Kentucky Bourbon returned to store shelves in a limited release of only 5,100 bottles. The 16-year-old bourbon retails for $350 and is available in just 10 states. The barrels for this batch are from 2007. Reviews describe rich vanilla. malt, candied fruit, spicy wood and chocolate. The brand began in 1818.

Netflix does it again!
Netflix has doen it again! After setting up 50 different experiences in 25 cities they have now created a new experiential entertainment experience. Two locations will be opening next year, one in Dallas, Tx. the other in Pennsylvania. Both will be located in former department stores spanning over 100,000 square feet. The venues will include experiences, food, drinks, merchandise stores and much more. The possibilities are just endless! Some examples from the NetflixHouse.com include Stranger Things official store, Bridgerton High Tea and The Perfect Bite, a dinner experience inspired by Knives Out.
Previous Netflix news: Netflix has acquired the rights to WWE Raw which has been a long time show Monday nights on USA Network. This news surprised everyone. The 3-hour show will begin to air exclusively on Netflix in January of 2025. It is a 10-year deal! Worth $5 billion.
